NZKGI Subcommittee Elections
The terms for the NZKGI Remuneration Committee and NZKGI representative on OMC have expired and there are now vacancies. All current members of the committees will be restanding.
The timeline for the electoral period is as follows:
- 10.11: Nomination period opens
- 29.11: Nomination period ends
- 1.12: Nominees distributed in Forum papers
- 8.12: If contested, elections for vacancies take place. The Forum shall also appoint the Committee Chairperson for the Remuneration Committee.

Two grower members of NZKGI that are not members of the Forum and one independent member who is not a grower and has experience in remuneration reviews.

Applications
Applicants for these vacancies must submit written nominations for election to the Chief Executive of NZKGI here by 29.11.2021. Candidates must be nominated and seconded by a Forum Member and the nomination must be accompanied by the written consent of the nominee. Candidates shall also supply full details (but not exceeding one side of an A4 sheet of paper) of their involvement in the Kiwifruit industry listing all directorships and shareholdings in Kiwifruit industry companies, especially supplier and post-harvest companies, and positions of responsibility and part or full ownership in any Kiwifruit industry structure including trusts, partnerships and any other entity.
