Event Description:
A harvest contractor’s worker was driving a tractor and softrider trailer when the locking pin of the trailer snapped, causing the trailer frame to dig into the ground. From this, the forks frame flipped up and forward with the left fork landing on the tractor and hitting the driver’s hand which was holding onto the handrail.
Initial Actions Taken:
- The driver was taken to hospital for X-rays, the hand was only bruised with no broken bones
- Investigation in progress
