Consultation on the Levy Renewal
Throughout Q4 2022, NZKGI will be consulting with Growers on the future of NZKGI for the next levy period. Your opinion on how you want NZKGI to advocate for you is important to us. Consultation with you will provide us with strategic direction for our operations and the levy income to fund them.
Anyone wanting to provide feedback can do so by:
- Submitting written comments to NZKGI at PO Box 4246, Mt Maunganui, or by email to info@nzkgi.org.nz
- Providing verbal comments to NZKGI by phoning 0800 232 505
- Requesting a meeting with NZKGI by phoning 0800 232 505
- Giving comments directly to the Minister for Primary Industries, Parliament Buildings, Wellington
Once feedback has been incorporated, the levy ballot papers will be finalised and approved by the Ministry for Primary Industries.
Voting papers will be sent to all eligible voters in February 2023 and voting will be open for three weeks. Voting will be arranged through Electionz, an independent specialist voting agency that NZKGI also uses for AGMs. Voting will be available both electronically and by post.
