Hourly Rate Estimation Tool
NZKGI along with the Business Analysis Working Group, have created a tool that has a number of scenarios for calculating what the hourly charge out rate for contract labour could be. The tool helps growers understand the costs involved in a contractors business model.
The tool can also work it backwards from the charge out rate to what an employee is likely to be paid. The tool attempts to take into account all of the costs, overheads and margin that a contractor would incur. There is also an option for you to customise your own tool.
